Why are prices listed in USD?
We list our prices in dollars in order to keep up with the constantly changing value of the peso. We do not frequently change our prices due to this policy, which allows us to easily keep up with inflation.
What differentiates Buenos Aires Art Tours from other tour services?
We live and breathe Buenos Aires culture but our knowledge of the city didn't happen overnight and certainly not by reading travel books. Our understanding of the city came from years of immersing ourselves into its culture: attending countless gallery openings, taking dance classes, spending hours hanging out in parks and cafes, exploring under appreciated 'barrios' and a lot of eating. Travelers don't have the same luxury of slowly getting to know a city.
Our mission at Buenos Aires Art Tours is to bridge the gap between travelers and local experts and allow our guests to see the city the way we live it everyday. We don't use scripts, many of our guides are professionals in their respective fields, and we are always excited to plan special accommodations to fulfill every guest's individual needs.
What can I expect on a tour?
The majority of our small team of guides are not professional tour guides but rather experts in their field that guide tours on the side and lend a unique expertise and perspective to our guests. Expect a tour that is intimate, interactive with a portrayal of Buenos Aires you won't find in Lonely Planet.
What is the cancellation policy?
50% of the total value of the tour is accepted as a non-refundable deposit. This is to reserve our guides time and to cover the administrative and operational costs that are involved in organizing a private or customized tour. We have curated a small team and may only have one guide that can fulfill your specific request, and valuing that time and work is important to the success of our company.
The remaining 50% of the total value of the tour is eligible for refund when a tour is cancelled in writing 48 hours before a tour start time.
Tours that are cancelled after the 48 hour cut off or in the event of a no show are not eligible for any refund under any circumstances.
If a guest needs to change dates or times of a scheduled tour, this may be subject to fees to cover the administrative costs required to reorganize a tour.
Group tours refer to any non-private tour.
Guests are eligible to a 100% refund when a tour is cancelled in writing 48 hours before a tour start time. A 50% refund is available when a tour is cancelled in writing between 24-48 hours of the tour's start time. Tours cancelled after the 24 hour cut off or in the event of a no show are not eligible for any refund under any circumstances.
